Patients Full patient  details available at your fingertips. Complete demographics including patient profile, Medical History (Active, Chronic, Surgical), Consultations and Readings (including charting). A snapshot that quickly presents you with the most crucial patient information is also available.
Vaccines A register of vaccines is kept reminding you of which patient, vaccine and dosage is required and when it should be administered. This way you can let nl-Medic remember for you and handle all your patients vaccines.
Drugs Build your own drugs database (or import) containing all relevant drug information such as Drug name, format, dosage, frequency and price. This will help you administer the correct drug for the particular condition affecting the patient.
Consultations Record your patient consultations every time they occur taking note of the date, complaint, findings and your recommendations. This vital information helps you build the case history for each of your patients and is easy to filter through giving you what you need when you need it.
Prescriptions & Referrals Automatically select the patient and drugs to form and print your prescription. In addition, you can print a referral form based on the patient details. You can use templates, create your own and simply print your form according to your selection.
Lab Trace Let the system keep record of all the traces (e.g. pap smear) of your patients that you send to outside labs for testing. Automatically link the received test result to your patient record and e-mail or mail them out. This provides you with a fully automated cycle allowing you to concentrate on other important issues.
Scheduling Keep tabs of all your patient appointments which can also be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook. Automatic appointment suggestion by nl-Medic is also available making your life much easier. The system can maintain multiple calendars (different doctors and specialists) at the same time. Different appointment durations per doctor can also be administered.
Sales Monitoring Easily create a list of your services and products which you will then use to invoice a patient. Barcoding is also available to further facilitate you. Your receptionist can simply be armed with a computer, nl-Medic and a barcode reader to perform this mindless task. At the end of the month simply print out the list of sales for your accountant. Opening Screen  Once you have launched NewLines nl-Medic, you will be prompted with a login screen where you are requested to enter your login name and password to access the system. Depending on your user name and user role within the system, nl-Medic’s embedded security module will allow you access to specific components as defined and controlled by the users role. Enlarge >>> Patient Readings  The various reading labels are created as needed by the user. You may keep up to thirty different readings per patient. Once taken and recorded, the readings are automatically populated on the patient’s snapshot to keep the attending consultant informed. Enlarge >>> Patient Snapshot  As the term signifies, this is a quick look at the patient’s most crucial demographics. For example, here you will see the patients address, Medical history (Active, Chronic, Surgical), urgent medical alerts (e.g. allergic to Penicillin), Drug, Family and Social History, Readings (Weight, blood pressure etc…) and so on. Enlarge >>> Vaccines  Within nl-Medic, you can define and setup your vaccines by entering the vaccine, number and frequency of dosage per vaccine. The system will then take care of everything and inform you of which patient, which vaccine and when it must be administered. In addition, a register of all patients and their corresponding vaccine history is created and maintained by nl-Medic. Enlarge >>> Lab Trace  Nl-Medic keeps an internal register of all the traces (e.g. Pap Smear) that you send out to external labs for testing. Once the results are ready and sent back to your clinic, the entry will be marked and the corresponding result can be uploaded directly onto the patients file for safekeeping. In turn, the result can then be e-mailed or mailed out as deemed appropriate. These files are then easily imported into nl-Medic and are sorted by patient. Furthermore, within the patients results screen, you can easily filter the results by relative groupings (e.g. Operations, Mammograms, History etc…) Enlarge >>> Consultations  Every time you consult with a patient, you must take note of the date, his complaint, your findings and your recommendations. Nl-Medic also allows you to group these transactions in a way to easily filter out the information you require when checking a patients details. The system allows you to keep multiple schedules for all the doctors with different recorded time slots available for the patients.
